Two Resort-Style Tucson Vacation Homes
As avid cyclists, hikers and nature lovers, we’ve called Tucson our home-away-from-home for over twenty years. We love the laid back vibe, Sonoran desert scenery, great food and some of the best hiking, road cycling and mountain biking around. When you book with us here, you’ll stay at what we think are Tucson’s most awesome family homes, while saving on platform and booking fees.
Sundance Hacienda is an upscale southwestern home on the eastside of Tucson in Tanque Verde Valley. It sits on an acre of land lush with mesquite trees and saguaros. Enjoy the heated pool and desert oasis in the backyard, and come inside for an upscale kitchen, lots of room to spread out, and 4 bedrooms that sleep 9.
Sonoran Hacienda is an upscale brick home in midtown, in the sought-after Peter Howell neighborhood. Resort-style backyard with heated pool, cactus garden, lots of shade, and our fun “golf club y cantina.” Come indoors for local artisan mesquite touches throughout, a modern kitchen, and 4 bedrooms that sleep 8.
Locations
Sundance Hacienda is situated on 1.2 acres on NE Tucson, in the Bel Air Ranch estates neighborhood of lush Tanque Verde Valley. It’s a few miles from the base on Mount Lemmon, and close to Saguaro National Park East, Sabino Canyon, and many great hiking and biking areas. There are fantastic restaurants and shopping just a few miles away. Downtown Tucson and U of A are about 15 miles away.
Sonoran Hacienda is in Midtown, 3 miles from U of A in the Peter Howell Neighborhood. It’s closer to most museums and downtown restaurants, and ideally centered between east and west attractions, such as Saguaro National Parks East and West.
Both neighborhoods are safe and peaceful with lots to explore, and we enjoy staying at both when we come to town. Sundance Hacienda is on more acreage, and more of a true desert experience. Sonoran Hacienda is closer to Tucson’s vibrant culture. They each have their own special charm.
